This place is great and I REALLY dont like going to dentist appointments, but I would go back here. They were really nice they told me everything they were doing and why they offered me bottled water gave me sunglasses so the light wasnt bright and in my eyes or damaging them in anyway, plus they have a little tv at your feet. Like what is not to like about this place other than the fact nobody likes their teeth drilled. I definitely recommend this place if you haven't tried it already! More

I had my first appointment here in January of 2026 after not going for way too long due to a traumatic experience. Dr. Kavanagh and team are INCREDIBLE! The girls at the front desk are always to kind and helpful! I haven’t had a bad hygienist either. Jean preformed my initial intake and cleaning and she is the sweetest and so incredible! I had some emergency and unexpected work that needed to be taken care of and they never once made me feel like it was my fault. Unfortunately that also means I’ve been in their office multiple times since my initial appointment! Dr. Kavanaugh is the best! He keeps in real but also take into account that you’re human! I cannot recommend CFD more! I refuse to go anywhere else. They’re perfect and incredible all around. No notes! More

My prior dentist stopped taking my insurance, but this practice participates with my insurance, and they are 20 minutes closer to home.My hygienist (Tanya) is fantastic! She told me about all the preventive services they offer (laser treatments, placed antibiotics) and found that they are very affordable. Tanya took her time and was very gentle. The dentist was polite and did a thorough exam.I wish I had found them sooner! I would recommend them to anyone! More

I am a new patient of Queensbury Family Dentistry. Being a total tech geek, I must tell you that this is the most advanced dentist office I have been to. Until today, I have never seen a photo scan of my entire set of teeth. I'm not talking about the panoramic X-ray. They had a device that performed a 360 degree rendered photographic scan of all of my teeth! It shines a bright light into your mouth while using some kind of a camera sensor to generate an interior photo of your mouth in high definition. Of course they had all the standard X-ray equipment as well.Sarah was my hygienist and she was wonderful. They chronicled all the work that had ever been done on my teeth and performed a deep cleaning. I have sensitive gums but never tasted blood the entire time. These guys are great! More

I recently moved to the area and needed a new dentist, so I decided to try Columbia Family Dentistry. I have only had one visit, which included a cleaning, imaging and other diagnostic testing, but my first impression is extremely positive. The office staff was extremely nice and easy to deal with both on the phone and in person. The office itself really impressed me, as they make use of advanced imaging and cleaning technology that I honestly have never seen before. Moreover, they took the time to explain in detail what the different tests were and how to understand the results. Mikenzie did my cleaning, and she was incredibly thorough and likeable, and Dr. Kavanagh took the time to go over the results with me as well. In all, this was a really good experience, and I intend to stay with this practice for my dental needs going forward. More

Quite literally the best experience I have ever had at the dentist! After inconsistent (to say the least) dental care throughout my 20s and 30s, I scheduled an appointment here at the recommendation of my husband, who also recently started going here. Today was a more intensive appointment as it involved restorative work, but the process was so smooth and painless — truly not an ounce of pain. As an elder millennial, I’m fairly convinced many of us stopped going to the dentist once we turned 18 and decided we were all invincible. Then life happened, and we woke up at 40 realizing we most certainly are not invincible - and routine care is important. My point being, this place is absolutely wonderful. If you have a fear of dentists, it will completely disappear once you walk in here. If you haven’t been to the dentist in a while, you won’t be shamed for it. They are super honest with you, and provide a really lighthearted and enjoyable atmosphere. 1000/10 would recommend! More

I look forward to going back to begin my treatment. My only concern, is it is lacking a button to press for easy opening of their entry doors. It’s difficult if you’re by your self and in a wheelchair. When I questioned this, I was told, by staff it’s an old building & yet to be remodeled. Which is why I removed two stars. Otherwise, it would have been a five star visit.Update: I’ve been to the office four times. Dr. Franklin & his staff are exceptional. I get there ten minutes early. I’ve never had to wait more than five minutes. Dr Franklin is very pleasant, kind, and puts you at ease. He doesn’t rush your appointments & explains everything. His staff is awesome too.
